ANNUAL CREDIT REPORT
Legislation regarding
credit file disclosures at no charge, enacted in December 2003 by the Fair and
Accurate Credit Transactions (FACT) Act, began to take effect in December 2004.
According to the FACT Act, everyone has free access to their credit file from
the 3 major credit reporting agencies once each year. Individuals may take
advantage of the mandated free Annual Credit Report by requesting their three
reports at one time or may extend the benefits of overseeing their credit file
over the course of the year by ordering one each (Equifax, Trans Union, or Experian) at intervals of about four months.

The website AnnualCreditReport.com was mandated by law and
the basic report is truly free-of-charge. We recommend visiting this
site each year and carefully reviewing your free credit report. If a
credit score is requested, a small fee will be charged for the score.
If within the next 12 months, you need another copy of your
file and score, we recommend clicking on the following link to our
affiliate, Equifax. The charge for each report or service will be
clearly marked.
